SANDY FUN OR WATER SLIDE RUN?

Welcome to mine and Caramels  on line debate thingy (whatever you want to call it). The topic is...
(drum roll please) That pools are much, much, much (insert as many muches as you like) better than the beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that pools are sooooooooooooooooooo much better than the ocean (comment your opinion).
Firstly, when you go to the ocean think of all that strong current. How easy would it be to just slip under one of those massive waves? As Caramel pointed out there are lifeguards at the beach but how many? One, two. And think of how big the ocean is. How long would it take the lifeguards to find you (hhhhmmmmmmmmmm)? But if your at a swimming pool there isn't any current or waves and the water is much easier  to see into and the lifeguards on patrol could pull you out really quick.
Secondly, what about in winter? In winter you can't go and swim at the beach. The current would be super strong and you'd probably freeze to death anyway. But there is a solution, you can go to an indoor swimming pool. It's warm and there you can swim without the threat of drowning.
And last but not least, at the beach there are lots of other safety issues. Wild animals such as jellyfish and sting rays. Boats and rips. But in the secure swimming pool there is lots of fun to be had. You can play a group game or practice swimming laps. So that is why I think that pools are better than the ocean.
